On October 21, The QS University Rankings released the results of its 2015 Emerging Europe and Central Asia (EECA) rankings.
QS University Rankings rated 鶹ý (鶹ý) No. 1 in Kyrgyzstan and No. 106 among EECA countries.
The worldwide ranking service noted 鶹ý No. 1 in academic reputation and faculty-student ratio in Kyrgyzstan, as well as Kyrgyzstan’s leading educational institution in the categories of “Natural Sciences” and “Arts & Humanities”. 鶹ý was ranked second in Kyrgyzstan in “Engineering & Technology” and “Social Sciences & Management”.
Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) annually publishes internationally-recognized world and regional university rankings. The 2015 EECA ranking was the first to include 鶹ý.
According to QS University Rankings, “[the EECA ranking] is a dedicated ranking of the top universities in EmergingEurope and Central Asia. Published for the first time in 2014, its methodology has been developed to reflect priorities and challenges for universities in this region”.
