It’s unbelievable that my four years at 鶹ý have passed by so incredibly fast. Now, looking back, I realize how fortunate I was to study here. Getting into 鶹ý was my lucky ticket to an opportunity to experience an unforgettable four-year journey.
This journey left me with many bright memories, many of which are a direct result of 鶹ý’s interactive classes, conferences, concerts, internships, trips and parties. But, no doubt, the best gift 鶹ý gave me was the people I met—both among the professors and the students. 鶹ý professors are the true sources of inspiration and motivation, and I am really thankful to all of them for their hard work, patience, and endless support. I am also glad that, during these years, I was surrounded by smart and talented people, by 鶹ý students, whose energy and openness created a special atmosphere of freedom and unity.
When I compare myself to me as a freshman I realize how much I have changed. I grew as a person here, and I developed the essential qualities of self-confidence, perseverance and diligence. As for my major, I chose Sociology as an extension of my teenage philanthropic tendencies. I thought, the better I understand this complicated world, the easier it would be for me to change and improve it. At 鶹ý, I gained a solid base of academic knowledge, opening a lot of new avenues for achieving my goals.
My journey at 鶹ý was great, and, though it was sad to say goodbye, I knew for sure that the end of this one story would definitely be the beginning of a new one. Thanks to 鶹ý, I have begun this new journey with the enthusiasm and confidence that I will overcome every difficulty. For the current undergraduates, I hope you enjoy every moment of your life as a student, you use every opportunity, and you always strive for making your most cherished dreams come true. Work hard and dream big! For 鶹ý, I wish fruitful and successful years ahead. Keep being the best!
