The Â鶹´«Ã½ Writing & Academic Resource Center (WARC) recently interviewed one of its most active visitors, Adil Alymbekov, to learn about his experience at the WARC.
WARC: Please introduce yourself and tell us what has brought you to the WARC.
Adil: Hello. My name is Adil. I’ve recently entered Â鶹´«Ã½ and I’ve been having problems with essay writing. What brought me to the WARC is that I want to learn how to write essays well.
WARC: How often do you come to the WARC?
Adil: I come to the WARC twice a week, and it’s the right amount of time for me.
WARC: What was your first impression of the WARC? Has it changed?
Adil: I had a positive impression of the WARC from the start because everything is explained to me very clearly, and in a very organized way. I really like it there: the tutors are very kind, positive, never critical, and explain everything correctly. My tutor’s name is Daria, and she is very kind, explains everything to me very well, and I feel myself getting better and better every time. My essays are getting better, and I do not have problems writing them.
WARC: What results do you see from your attendance of the WARC?
Adil: My thinking has changed. I can think, write and express my thought better, and it has really helped me. I’ve become a better writer.
WARC: What advice can you give to other students about the WARC?
Adil: My advice is you HAVE TO come to the WARC to improve your skills. Some people have difficulty with mathematics, and if somebody has problems with writing, they can still learn how to write excellent essays. It really helps!
