Youth Council C5+1, with the support of the U.S. Embassy Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic is pleased to announce the call for applications for Central Asian Youth Peace Talks, which will be held on March 23-24, 2019.
Under the cluster of Global Counter-terrorism Forum (GCTF), Regional Dialogue of the C5+1 Initiative, the Central Asian Youth Peace Talks aims to provide a platform for youth to share perspectives on the challenges of peace-building, as well as best practices and regional approaches for countering radicalization and violent extremism.
The Peace Talks brings together young motivated university students from across Central Asia to discuss and debate the current regional security challenges (radicalization and violent extremism), and the role of youth in peace-building through social media and peace-education.
Eligibility: University students from Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, between ages of 18-30, residing in Kyrgyzstan are eligible to apply!

*University students from the mentioned countries residing in Osh city are highly encouraged to apply. All expenses are covered for students from Osh.
