Honesty, critical thinking, and respect are the main values of our students. As the Liberal Arts and Science institution, Â鶹´«Ã½ highly appreciates students' evaluation and feedback on the effectiveness of teaching methods.
A junior student Erdan Kudaibergen shares his thoughts about distance learning below:
"It has already been two months since the Â鶹´«Ã½ switched to online education. Of course, we all have to overcome certain difficulties, but we go through all this together with students, professors and advisers. At first glance, online education seemed something incredibly complex and new for each of us, but after a little practice it became clear that there was nothing difficult. There even were many advantages in this way of studying. Judge for yourself, we take part in all lectures and seminars, have the opportunity to talk with professors and students, use a virtual board and get the same quality knowledge as before. Moreover, we no longer need to spend time and money on expenditures to get to the university (in my case it took an hour and a half one way), we do not need to carry textbooks and laptops. All that we need is already with us in a favorable home environment. The quality of the knowledge gained remained at the same level, if not even improved, because we had more free time for additional education. Also, every professor is always ready to answer questions even after the class, you just need to write to him/her that you need help.
In this difficult time for us, it is important to continue to improve and move towards our goals. The online education offered by Â鶹´«Ã½ was a great way out of this situation for me and a great alternative for studying on campus!"
