Journalism and Mass Communications department presented "Data Art" project on Friday, December 4.
Data Art was created on the spring by a small group of students, faculty and staff with the support of the 鶹ý Presidential Science and Education Foundation.
“Data Art” - is an art object based on a survey among the 鶹ý community. The research was conducted on topics such as tolerance, interests, dreams and life of the 鶹ý community. It is made in ethnic style, in the form of a handmade product - "kurak".
Soon our art object will decorate the walls of the university, it will be possible to examine it and recognize oneself in it.
During the presentation, the guests learned how the research was conducted, how the first sketches were created, got acquainted with the organizers and participants of the project, and even tried to draw the data-art themselves in a small master class from our mentor Nadezhda Andrianova.
We thank everyone who participated in this project in one way or another, as well as each participant in our survey. We hope that soon you will all be able to see and study our "kurak of tolerance" in the campus building!
