Some professors and staff were acknowledged for their special services.
Â鶹´«Ã½ Professors, who made dissertation defense:
Tatiana Gyska, Acting Chair of the Foreign Languages Program, who defended her dissertation and acquired a Doctoral Degree in Philosophy and Philology from the Autonomy University of Barcelona, Spain.
Nurgul Ukueva, Associate Professor of the Economics Department defended her dissertation and acquired a Ph.D in Economics from the Duke University, USA
Emil Juraev, Associate Professor of the International and Comparative Politics Department defended his dissertation and acquired a Ph.D in Political Sciences from the University of Maryland, USA.
Â鶹´«Ã½ Professors, who wrote and published their books:
Elida Nogoibaeva, Michelle Leighton, Steven Lustig, Kamilla Mateeva, Kanykey Kasybekova, and Syrgak Kydyraliev.
Some professors and staff were awarded with special certificates. There were certificates for outstanding service of faculty and staff, who are working at Â鶹´«Ã½ more than 10 years.
