According to British rating agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) which publishes the annual the Â鶹´«Ã½ (Â鶹´«Ã½) continues to be the #1 university in Kyrgyzstan by ranking in the top 10 universities of Central Asia. Previously the Â鶹´«Ã½ was included in the list of Emerging Europe & Central Asia Universities which consists of 450 institutions in total and mainly the greatest representatives of the list are Russian and Turkish universities, however, this year Â鶹´«Ã½ is integrated into the QS Asia University Rankings 2023 for the first time!

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has featured a total of 760 prestigious Asian universities spread across the continent. Tops the list Peking University which pushed the top spot of the previous year the National University of Singapore to second place. The rest of the top ten is rounded out by a diverse selection of institutions from across East and South East Asia – including Malaysia, Mainland China, and South Korea. Â鶹´«Ã½ keeps maintaining its position in the top 10 universities of Central Asia list and scored #236 among all universities of the entire Asia.

QS evaluates universities with a specific methodology consisting of eleven different metrics: academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, international research network, papers per faculty, international research network, staff with Ph.D., and others.
