- My name is Baktygul Tazhamatova, I am a junior in the Business Administration department. I decided to participate in this exchange program due to my interest in living abroad as a university student, meeting with new international friends, traveling, and spending quality time with myself. I chose the Czech University of Life Sciences because of its location, which is located in Prague, in Central Europe. It’s easier to travel from the Czech Republic and Prague is an amazing city with great architecture and history. My university provided a list of classes that interested me. I had an opportunity to try something new, for example, IT Project Management. I always wanted to try myself in IT as a Project Manager and in Prague, I was able to take this course. Their way of teaching also differs from 鶹ý, it helped me to compare and find the best way of effective learning. I was able to learn more about European culture and the education system. Leading an active university life helped me to easily adapt to a new university, friends, and conditions. My experience studying abroad was full of great and fun memories. Traveling was one of the best parts of my exchange semester. Since it’s easy to travel from Prague, I decided to use this opportunity and traveled to 5 European countries.
Exchange semester is a great opportunity to get to know yourself better, what you really like, and what you want from life because you live on your own and you learn a lot about yourself. I learned to be responsible for myself, and for my decisions and choices. I recommend students apply for an exchange semester if they want to learn more about themselves, about other people and get a new perspective and view on the world. Don’t miss the opportunity to study abroad and travel.
