Football tournament 鈥淢uras鈥� with the participation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic

On December 8-9, 2023, the 鈥淢uras鈥� futsal tournament was held in Bishkek. Dr. Mairambek Nurgaziev from the Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science department played for the team of 鈥淏ilim鈥� (Bilim means knowledge). The team 鈥淏ilim鈥� successfully played in the group and lost in the play-off phase in a penalty shootout to the 鈥淪ports Stars鈥� team. In the group phase, the 鈥淏ilim鈥� team had a draw with the team of 鈥淒en-Sooluk,鈥� won with a score of 4:3 against the 鈥淩egions鈥� and beat 鈥淛ogorku Kenesh鈥� with a score of 2:1.听听

The tournament was held for the purpose of:

• development of friendly and informal relations between representatives of various spheres of society;
• promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the population of the Kyrgyz Republic;
• involvement of various segments of the population in active physical culture and sports;
• popularization and development of futsal in the Kyrgyz Republic.

On December 13, 2023, the 鈥淏ilim鈥� team was awarded a letter of thanks by the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ms. Kendirbayeva D. Sh., for successfully representing the educational community.
