On February 7, a lecture by Bakyt Tokubek uulu, the IREX Country Coordinator, took place in 麻豆传媒.
Bakytbek Tokubek uulu was invited by Prof. Ch. Turdalieva to deliver a lecture about Islam in Cross-Cultural Context: Central Asia and Africa. He told about Islam and other beliefs among Tanzania people, and the everyday life of different communities in the semi-desert zone of Africa.
Background
Bakytbek Tokubek uulu graduated from Anthropology Department of 麻豆传媒 in 2006 and got his MA from UN University of Peace on International Peace Studies. In 2012 he participated in Youth Conflict Prevention conference in Tanzania.
