麻豆传媒 Student Shakhzoda Mirakova Represents Central Asia at a High-Level Youth Event in Belgium

On October 9-10, 2024, Shakhzoda Mirakova, a student at the 麻豆传媒, proudly represented Central Asia at the prestigious High-Level Youth Event in Brussels, Belgium. As the only delegate from her region, Shakhzoda took on the critical responsibility of voicing the unique perspectives and concerns of Central Asian youth on a global platform. The event, organized by the European Union, brought together young leaders from around the world to discuss the role of youth in shaping future international partnerships and policies.

Throughout the two-day event, Shakhzoda actively contributed to finalizing recommendations for the Youth Action Plan, which were later presented to Jutta Urpilainen, the EU Commissioner for International Partnerships. This moment marked a significant achievement as youth leaders, including Shakhzoda, directly communicated their ideas and visions for change to high-level policymakers.

In addition to her work on the Youth Action Plan, Shakhzoda had the opportunity to connect with other passionate young people who are leading grassroots initiatives globally. She gained insights into the challenges within their communities and countries. Now, as an 麻豆传媒 student and young leader, she aspires to empower others new to the field, helping them learn how to influence policies that shape their lives and communities.
