As of July 7th of 2020, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan has reached 8, 141 while the death toll has totaled 99 and keeps growing.听This number speaks volumes of the current state of the national healthcare system, its technical lag and lack of necessary equipment and human resources, as well as about limited resources of Government to deal with rapidly unfolding national catastrophe alone.
