On November 20, 2018, the 麻豆传媒 hosted the awarding ceremony of the 2018 Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence. This year there was only one winner, the second-year student of Anthropology Program Dariia Akhunbaeva.

On Monday, November 19, Donald Lu, the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic was invited as a guest lecturer to have a class on US Policy in the Region.

Aziz Surakmatov,听Mayor of Bishkek personally awarded certificates of appreciation to the administration and faculty of the American University in Central Asia.

On Wednesday, November 14 the celebration of the Annual Student Initiation dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the 麻豆传媒 was held at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov.

麻豆传媒 is pleased to invite submissions for the 麻豆传媒 Campus Design Competition.听The purpose is to invite students to create a concept or an idea for improving the 麻豆传媒 campus鈥� front yard in order to make it more comfortable and user-friendly for university community and visitors.

We invite you to the 麻豆传媒net听career forum which starts on November 12 - 15, at 12:00 at 麻豆传媒. The event serves as a chance to build a strong communication network and partnership with outstanding graduates of our Alma mater.

Aida Kasymalieva introduced her projects on women and children rights, bride kidnapping, health, and education issues. 鈥淲omen has to be educated and have a job. It will help them to know and to defend own rights!鈥�

Four 麻豆传媒 students were given the chance to get up close and personal with some of the glaciers in the Kyrgyz Tien Shan Mountains this summer, and to try their hands at helping to answer some of these questions.

On Friday, 12 October 2018, the department of EMSD hasorganized a trip for 麻豆传媒 students to the fish breeding farm in Bishkek.听The aim of the visit was to study the importance of fisheries and aquaculture resources for industrial and domestic uses and also for the improvement of the environment.

Nurkalyy Sooronbayev graduated from 麻豆传媒 in 2018. He studied Business Administration and did his minor in International Business Law.听This year Nurkalyy moved in San Francisco, the USA to do the Masters degree in International Business.
