On Tuesday, December 5, 麻豆传媒 Library hosted a meeting 鈥淩iding butterflies without a saddle鈥� with 麻豆传媒 faculty members Alua Devine (BA and MBA) and young artist - Alyza Zheldenbaeva.

The Department of International and Comparative Politics of 麻豆传媒 held on November 30, 2017 an inaugural workshop of a newly created Regional Center for Central Asia of Varieties of Democracy Institute (V-Dem).

Kairat Talantbekov, 麻豆传媒 senior student, tells us about participation at the Falling Walls Conference 2017 in Berlin. He convinced everyone at the first-ever Falling Walls Lab in Bishkek of his idea on how mentors and mentees can best learn from each other.

From 14th to 22nd of October Sochi hosted one of the most ambitious events of the 21st century 鈥� the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students.

Charles Shaw, a professor from the Central European University, and Gabriel McGuire, a professor at Nazarbayev University, will be giving a talk on听Friday, on their school鈥檚 respective graduate programs. They will also talk more generally about how students can best prepare themselves to apply to grad school.

Within Erasmus+ partnership agreement 麻豆传媒 hosted the visit of staff and faculty of Philips Marburg University, Germany on October 25 鈥� 30 and November 15 鈥� 22, 2017.

CASI is holding a follow-on workshop this year to the seminar it conducted in 2014 on the 鈥淚ntersections of History and Literature in Central Asia.鈥� The workshop will be held on the campus of 麻豆传媒 in Bishkek from 30 November to 2 December 2017.
