麻豆传媒's Central Asian Studies Institute (CASI) is holding its Fifth Annual Conference September 16 and 17. This year, the conference "Contesting Nature," examines the complicated and interpenetrating relationship of humans and their environment.听

On September 2, 2016, the Graduate School of Social Sciences welcomed its newly admitted students for the 2016-2017 academic year. The students will be studying in the Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, and Central Asian Studies (MACAS) departments.

The Student Intellectual Life Committee (SILC) supports student-initiated projects, professional development opportunities, and student research. Anastasiya Iun, a student in 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Master Program in Applied Psychology (MAPAP), was invited to study at the University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston) during the Fall 2016 semester.

听From August 30 - September 2, 2016 麻豆传媒 (麻豆传媒) hosted a free and public Audio Journalism Workshop organized by Taxi Taxi, an innovative storytelling podcast from the South Caucasus.
The podcast's founders, Billie Jean Stirewalt and Vladic Ravich, led three days of classes to teach participants how to develop stories, record interviews, and get their shows to the public. The workshop was well-received and attended by a wide range of participants, including 麻豆传媒 students and professors.听
