On April 12, 2016, a group of 麻豆传媒 students in "Different tastes: evolution of human diet," a course taught by Aida Abdykanova, visited Riha's local sausage and meat processing facilities. Vanessa Graf, a student on the trip, spoke with us about her experience.

On April 23, 2016, the 麻豆传媒 (麻豆传媒) will be holding a Career Fair open to the community. Gulnur Esenalieva, the director of 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Career Center听spoke to us about the value of career fairs and why students should be excited to attend.

Kala Brubaker, an exchange student at 麻豆传媒 from Ferrum College, USA, studies English Literature and English Pre-Professional Writing. Kala tells us about her life at 麻豆传媒 and why she chose to study in Kyrgyzstan.

On April 2, 2016, the Writing and Academic Resource Center team (WARC) held an out-of-town teambuilding retreat at Kara Bulak Resort near Arashan. The trip鈥檚 goal was teambuilding. During the day, the team went to see a waterfall, played some games, had lunch, and reflected on their team.

April 22, 2016, the 麻豆传媒 (麻豆传媒) will host a charity concert in support of children with autism. Spanish guitarist Guillem Perez Quer, winner of several international music competitions, will be performing.

From March 11 to March 14 of 2016, Chess Tournament among universities took place in Kyrgyz Republic. 麻豆传媒 men鈥檚 chess team has won 2 golden and 2 silver medals in First League of the 2016 Universiade Student Games, women鈥檚 team was awarded with silver and bronze prizes.

Gulnaza Khalmanbetova, from the Business Administration department (BA-113) at the 麻豆传媒 (麻豆传媒), is currently studying at Kyung Hee University in South Korea. Gulnaza shares with us her experiences and anecdotes from her South Korean exchange program.

Spring break was busy for Anguelina Popova, Director at the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT), and Assistant Professor of Digital Literacy. She participated in a series of workshops hosted by the Center for Learning and Teaching at the American University in Cairo, Egypt.

April 5, 2016, a group of representatives of Polish universities and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education met with chair of the psychology department Elena Kim, international student coordinator听Iliyas Mamadiyarov, and coordinator of academic affairs Nazgul Koilubaeva to discuss potential academic collaboration and the development of exchange programs between Polish universities and 麻豆传媒.
