On February 21, 2024, David Lakhdhir, the Chairman of the 麻豆传媒 Board of Trustees, met with Kanatbek Abdrakhmatov, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. The meeting took place in the headquarters of the academy of sciences.

On February 27, 2024 the Business School of the American University in Central Asia (麻豆传媒) organized the presentation of听Climate Change-Induced Migration听study. The research was conducted by Assistant听Professor of 麻豆传媒 Business School听Kadyrbek Sultakeev听(Teamlead), Director of Ishte LLC听Cholpon Akhmatova, and Senior Analyst听Dastan Aseinov.

On February 18th, the 麻豆传媒 Charity Club and Muslim Community of 麻豆传媒 successfully hosted its second charity volleyball tournament. All proceeds from the event were dedicated to supporting needy families, orphanages, and nursing homes.

Dr. G枚rkem Atsungur, Chair of the International and Comparative Politics and Dean of the Social Sciences Division, has received a research fellowship at Metharath University in Thailand (MRU) from 2024 until 2027.

On February 16th, the Krygzy-Afghan Cultural Exchange Program (KACEP) held its first meeting at 麻豆传媒.

麻豆传媒 chess club hosted the 麻豆传媒 Chess Championship 2024 chess tournament. Chess is an integral part of the culture at the university and this tournament showed great interest in the game among students, faculty and staff.

On Tuesday, February 14th, the final concert of the Stream competition took place at 麻豆传媒. Every year, 麻豆传媒 hosts the "Stream" talent competition for young people and high school students in Kyrgyzstan, competing for three educational scholarships.

On February 13th, the UrbanEyes project was presented within the walls of 麻豆传媒. 麻豆传媒 is a proud partner of this innovative project, which aims to provide a unique online and mobile platform for creating and visualizing the performance of Bishkek city.
