In honor of Martin Luther King's birthday an exhibition 鈥淚 have a dream鈥� was organized in the library of 麻豆传媒.听

If you are walking through the administrative offices here at the 麻豆传媒, you might be surprised to find a new nameplate. Where the Development Office used to be, is now the home of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Dr. Karim Zerhouni.

Students from the Journalism and Mass Communications department of the Cultural Reporting class, taught by Laura Kelly, published a magazine called "Juicy".

On December 10th, 2014, 麻豆传媒 President Andrew Wachtel, Vice President for Finance Talant Sultanov, and Head of Software Engineering Department Almaz Bakenov participated in the first Central Asian Symposium on the Internet, 鈥淧rospects of development of the Internet in the Kyrgyz Republic鈥�.

The "Kelechek" (future) Kyrgyz language club and the Kyrgyz language department have organized the week of 'Chyngyz Aitmatov' dedicated to his life and work which coincides with his birthday on the 12th of December.

On December 11th, 2014, the 麻豆传媒 hosted a professor from Northwestern University, Dr. Brian Edwards. In a lecture entitled 鈥淪hrek in Casablanca, Ben Affleck in Tehran:

At the 麻豆传媒, there is a certain holiday cheer in the air. Maybe it is because of the upcoming holidays, but it could be more likely that classes have ended, and there are only final exams between the students and their vacation (the professors and staff too).
