It is with great sadness that we inform you that on September 23, 2022, at the age of 56, Jeenbek Kulenbekov, professor and head of the Applied Geology and Environmental Sustainability and Climatology Departnment, passed away.

On this day in 1989, the Law "On the State language of the Kyrgyz SSR" was adopted.

September 19 has been declared as the Day of National Mourning in Kyrgyzstan. The decree has been signed by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.

Aidin Turganbekov is a senior student who is about to graduate in the upcoming spring with a major degree in Sociology and a minor degree in Politics. Aidin is not a stranger when it comes to exchange programs. Having completed Bard Globalization and International Affairs Program in New York City, inspired to learn more Aidin decided to apply for a semester at the American University of Armenia during his studies at 麻豆传媒.

On September 3 and 4, 2022, the Dean of the Department of Applied Geology, Professor Jeenbek Kulenbekov, and the Senior Director of the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine of the USA, Dalal Najib, held an international seminar PEER2PEER.

On Wednesday, September 7th, the Student Senate organized a meeting with students to start off the new academic year. The meeting was held to educate the freshman students on what the Student Senate is and the work they are responsible for.
